The site of a former sugar mill plantation built in 1829 by Marigny de Mandeville, this 2,700-acre park embraces the shores of Lake Pontchartrain. The remains of the old sugar mill can still be seen. Camping is available year-round; the swimming pool is open during summer.

Madisonville Lighthouse
Built more than 150 years ago, the Madisonville Lighthouse stands at the mouth of the Tchefuncte River and was used to signal boats navigating the waterway. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Tammany Trace
A 31-mile stretch of abandoned railroad line connecting the major municipalities of the parish, this trail will be converted to a linear park for hiking, jogging, cycling and horseback riding. The first portion of the trace, from Mandeville to Abita Springs, is open.
